The tapered needle tip opens and closes the flow of paint inside the nozzle by moving the control lever back and forth. If you want to convert your Spray Gun to the Fine nozzle size, please replace the spray jet regulator (Art. No. 38031), needle, head (Art. No. 38069) and the nozzle (item no. 38071) together. We recommend our complete spray jet attachment (head, nozzle and spray jet regulator item no. 38081) for the conversion. This spare part is suitable for the Spray Gun Student ISB 500, item no. 39102
