Variable mold construction frame made of aluminum, consisting of:
4 aluminum angle plates, dimensions 100mm x 200mm x 100mm
1 aluminum base plate, dimensions 200mm x 200mm

The 4 angle plates can be variably shifted against each other so that a variable casting box can be adapted exactly to the model.
You get an optimal framing to use only the really needed amount of mold material / casting material.

First apply a layer of non-hardening modeling clay (plasticine) as a base to the base plate and roll out in the manner of a cake dough.
The model to be modeled is incorporated / modeled into this substrate.
This ensures adhesion of the model to the substrate, no silicone runs under the model and the model can not float in the infused silicone.
In the modeling clay you can, for example with a pin, the head of a screw or a small ball indent some depressions. The indentations are then filled up with the encapsulated silicone and later serve as a tongue and groove for the exact connection of both mold halves.

When all the modeling work has been completed, the wall panels are adapted to the model as desired and pressed into the modeling clay substrate. This automatically creates a lower seal so that no silicone can flow out.

The remaining gaps between the wall panels should be sealed with modeling clay to prevent leakage of the silicone or the casting compound.

After curing, the individual sheets are very easy to remove again, since materials such. Silicone rubber or casting resin adhere very poorly to the aluminum and the mold frame and the bottom plate need not be pretreated.
This is a decisive advantage, in contrast to wooden mold boxes or wooden casting boxes, as it makes removal considerably easier.

The items are easy to clean and use over and over again, unlike untreated wooden frames, which are either glued or threaded, which are difficult to clean.

Included is a base plate made of aluminum measuring 20 x 20cm.

Should it be necessary to enclose larger objects, then you can easily assemble the sheets of several mold kits into a larger pouring box.

The transitions should then be sealed with modeling clay to prevent leakage of the casting material.
