3rd generation acrylic paint set from AK-Interactive. The color of the future. Contains: 6 x 17 ml.

The German army used several ordinances for camouflage on their vehicles during WWII. This set includes the most important colors in use from 1937 to 1944, and includes 6 colors designed to represent the initial Dunkelbraun and Dunkelgrey camo. Finally, the set also includes two different versions of Olivegrun, allowing the modeler to represent the different paint conditions and faded effects for this color. To ensure historical accuracy AK paints have been designed taking into account the Scale Reduction Effect.

A 3rd Generation acrylic paint set featuring the six colors essential for painting models of German Army vehicles used in Europe from 1937 until 1944. RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun and RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau were the standard camouflage colors used in 1937-40. From 1940, RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau was used as a single camouflage color. In the spring of 1943, a three color camouflage system was introduced, featuring RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb as the base color and RAL 6003 Olivgrün and RAL 8017 Rotbraun for disruptive patterns. As the two latter colors were supplied to the troops in form of emulsion paints which could be applied either straight from the container or thinned, variation in color appearance existed. This is addressed by the inclusion of two different green shades in this set.

The AFV line includes specific sets for painting military vehicles. Each selection has been carefully researched for color accuracy. The modulation sets contain four colors to perform the modulation technique and their colors and they can be mixed together for even smoother transitions. The 3,4,6 or 8 color sets allow different variations depending on each army. The generic sets can meet the needs of military vehicles or any vehicle in general. The colors have been designed taking into account the scale reduction factor.
